The Agapanthus 'Columba' is a mesmerising perennial with deep blue trumpet-shaped flowers arranged in loose balls around the top of a tall and sturdy stem. Like other Agapanthus, this plant does best when planted from the end of March through to April with expected blooms through the middle of summer into early autumn where it will proceed to die back for the year. Once fully grown the plant can reach a massive 75-90cm.
The Agapanthus 'Argentina' does best when planted in well-drained soil in full sun. Shade should be avoided as it could result in unimpressive blooms. When planting, the bulbs do best when planted around 5cm deep.
