Bellevalia paradoxa bulbs yield a stunning floral decoration. Commonly referred to as pycnantha or Muscari paradoxum, they feature slim flower stems with clusters of dark violet, bulb-shaped blossoms arranged in an ombre of violets to light blues.

Bellevalia paradoxa has distinguishing characteristics compared to other members of the Muscari genus; when in full bloom, the flower is situated at the mouth. This species is hardy and can thrive in a variety of settings, but flourishes in well-drained soils in spots with sun or shade. Additionally, it is highly frost-tolerant.
